This was the dragon of my father, together with him we gave our dragon “vineta” to the movie team and also gave them support at the filmproduction. The name of the movie was “Die Alleinseglerin!”. It is a real story from a woman who sailed a drago in the sixties on our homelake “Scharmützelsee” The movie is also made on our original lake.
The dragon was original colorless wooden from the 1930´s, the last owner before my father was the east german minister of culture and textwriter of the east german national hymn , Johannes R. Becher. After him, the boat was in an old shelter on our Lake till we found it around 1978
So on this Dragon I sailed many days in my youth and felt the first time real dragon sailing, crazy, or? Signé :Axel SCHMIDT
